Bradbury Architecture is moving towards a sustainable practice both in the way we work and in the buildings we design. We encourage the use of public transport alternatives by subscribing to the ZIP car program. Our office is located close to bus, seabus and skytrain routes. We review drawings electronically to reduce printing and we use re-cycled paper, refillable cartridges and compostable pens. We donate used computer hardware to charities when we upgrade.

The design of more sustainable buildings starts at the concept stage with building orientation and massing. We evaluate new products, assemblies and systems for their environmental standards and their life-cycle costs as well as for aesthetic and technical merits. Re-evaluating the way we build reduces waste and creates structures that can be adapted and re-used.
